Fiona Sefton BSc (Hons) ACIB (Comp)

Fiona is a PA/secretary/administrator with over 15 years experience in all levels of administration and secretarial work, most recently working as a PA for a team of three commercial finance brokers.  She has worked for both large and small companies including financial institutions, solicitors and sole traders.

After working for 14 years as a secretary, Fiona decided to return to education and gained an HND and BSc during three years of study.  During this time she honed her organisational and time keeping skills as she studied, carried on working part time and, her most important job of all, continued as a full time mum!

Having “done her husband’s books” for 15 years, Fiona decided it was about time she formalised her experience in the world of bookkeeping and has recently passed her bookkeeping exams and is now an associate member of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers.  She also has excellent typing and word processing skills and a very high knowledge of most Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel and PowerPoint allowing her to present work in a professional manner. 

Away from work, Fiona enjoys training in karate and is currently a 1st kyu grade (next grade = black belt!).  She also enjoys swimming and going to the gym.  In 2009, Fiona has taken part in the Swimathon in April (5,000m) in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care and Jane Tomlinson's Run For All (10km) in York in August in aid of SNAPPY (Special Needs Activity and Play Provision in York).
